Graduate Applications Thank you for your interest in graduate studies in the Geosciences Department at Stony Brook University. ONLY on-line applications will be accepted. General information and the online application can be obtained at the Graduate School website: http://www.grad.sunysb.edu/. For the M.A.T. Earth Sciences program, you must apply at the School of Professional Development. Apply here for the M.A.T. program: School of Professional Development. All supporting materials MUST be mailed directly to the Geosciences Department; not to the Graduate School. Please note that all transcripts must be mailed directly to the Geosciences Department and not to the Graduate School. For Fall Semester the deadline is January 15th for consideration for departmental support and for the Turner and Graduate Council Fellowships. Please note that for consideration of support means that the entire application packet (that is, all transcripts, recommendation letters, GRE and Toefl Scores reported) must be in the Geosciences Department by January 15th and for Spring Semester the deadline is October 1st.
